Because asphalt shingles are dense and heavy (approx. 200–250 lbs per square of single-layer shingles), keep total weight in mind so you stay safely within our 4.5-ton (9,000 lbs) maximum total load limit.
For single-layer residential roof tear-offs, a 20-yard dumpster provides ample volume while staying within safe road-weight limits. Heavy debris must never exceed the 4.5-ton maximum load.
